1. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 21 years old to buy from us, and you must be authorized to purchase research chemicals on behalf of your institution, laboratory, or research facility. By placing an order you represent that both are true. We may ask for professional credentials or proof of your institution before we fill an order, and we may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
2. Research use only
Everything we sell is for laboratory research and in-vitro use only, never for human or animal use. Our full Research Use Only (RUO) Policy is part of these terms, and by ordering you agree to it.
3. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has gained access. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
4. Orders, pricing, and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm and ship it. We may correct pricing errors, limit quantities, or decline an order even after you receive a confirmation. Prices are in U.S. dollars and payment is due at checkout. Card payments are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant processors, so we never store your full card details on our servers.
5. Shipping and delivery
We ship within the United States only. Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you once the carrier takes possession of your order.
6. Product information
We work hard to describe our compounds accurately, including purity, specifications, and certificates of analysis. Even so, we cannot guarantee that every description, image, or specification is free of error. The technical data we publish is for reference only and is not a usage instruction.
7. Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, logos, images, and layout, belongs to Paradise Compounds or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without our written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Apart from the analytical purity stated on each product’s certificate of analysis, our products and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Because our products are sold for research only, we make no warranty about results, suitability for any experiment, or fitness for any use beyond laboratory research.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paradise Compounds and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products or this site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Paradise Compounds and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from how you handle, store, use, or misuse our products, or from your breach of these terms or of any law.
11. Compliance with laws
You are responsible for following all local, state, and federal laws that apply to buying, owning, handling, and testing the materials you order from us. If a product is restricted where you are, do not order it.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute comes up, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute that cannot be settled that way will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its last-updated date, is the one that applies to your order. If you keep using the site after we post changes, you accept the updated terms.
14. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
